Air travel
Visitors are advised to fly into Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU), 18 miles from the conference location.
Parking
Parking for the conference will be in the Bryan Center Parking Garage, also known as Parking Garage IV.
The Bryan Center Garage is located off Science drive. You will need to enter the garage from the south side, lower level entry (see image).
Please note that Google maps may take you to the upper level entry instead. To find the correct entrance, you need to turn right off Science Drive, one street BEFORE what Google tells you, and then turn left into the garage.
Click here for the exact coordinates for the south entrance to the garage.
We will email you your permit. Be sure to print it out and bring it with you. Scan the barcode on your permit to enter the garage and then display the permit on your dash once you've parked. You will scan the permit once again to leave the garage.
If your plans change and you need last-minute parking but didn't print your permit, simply park in the garage and pull a ticket. We will have a few backup permits at the conference location that you can take with you later to exit the garage without paying.
When you exit the parking lot, walk along the path to the south side of the Bryan Center (away from Science Drive) and Penn Pavilion will be on your right.
Free Shuttle from the hotel to the conference
We will have a free morning shuttle available to take guests from The Lodge at Duke Medical Center to Penn Pavilion on Thursday and Friday mornings. The shuttle will run from 7:50 - 8:30 am, about every 20 minutes (7:40, 8:10, and 8:30 LAST CALL).
Although a shuttle back to the hotel will not be provided, we expect that attendees will have an easy time arranging carpools and Uber pools.
Walking from the hotel to the conference
The walk from The Lodge at Duke Medical Center to Penn Pavilion is 1.1 miles and will take about 20-25 minutes.
The directions involve a lot of paths that don't have names, so your best bet is to look at the map below. Penn Pavilion is a large glass building, right near the bookstore.
