Parking 

Parking for the conference will be in the Card Parking Lot near Wilson Gym.

• The Card Parking Lot is located off Towerview Road in Durham NC.

• We will email you your permit. Be sure to print it out and bring it with you. Scan the barcode on your permit to enter the parking lot and then display the permit on your dash once you've parked. You will scan the permit once again to leave the lot.

• If your plans change and you need last-minute parking but didn't print your permit, try pulling up the permit on your phone to scan into the parking lot, and use the call button at the gate for assistance if needed.

• Walking from the Card lot to Penn Pavilion: When you exit the parking lot, turn left on Towerview Rd, and walk until you reach Union Drive. Turn right on Union drive and the Penn Pavilion will be on your left. 

WALKING From the Hotels to the Conference 

Our two conference hotels offer walkable options for getting to the conference location:

• The Washington Duke Inn is our more expensive, but most walkable option. It is just a 10-15 minute walk or 5-minute car ride to and from the conference location. 

  • This is a google map link to directions between the Washington Duke Inn and the Penn Pavilion.

• The Lodge is our less expensive, but also less walkable option. It is about a 20-25 minute walk or 7-minute car ride to and from the conference location. 

  • This is a google map link to directions between the Lodge and the Penn Pavilion.

The directions involve a lot of paths that don't have names, so your best bet is to look at the map below, or follow mapped directions linked above. Penn Pavilion is a large glass building, right near the bookstore.
