Psychology One Conference
Teaching Expo:
Psychological Observers
Philip Smith
Brief Description:
Welcome to class 3 of introductory psychology! Last day we began to discuss why psychologists go to all the trouble of using rigorous techniques in research, how we can get better at asking questions about research, and how lessons from research can be applied in our day-to-day lives. Today I invite you to our role play to learn more about one a foundation of psychological research and practice: observing and describing behaviour. It's not as straightforward or intuitive as we sometimes think!
