Fifth Annual Conference Theme
"Teaching Social Justice and Responsibility:
Ideas and Actions for the 21st Century"
What role should a course in introductory psychology play in promoting a just society? How can we best engage students’ critical thinking through the topic of social justice and even inspire them to take action?
Featured speakers for the Fifth Annual Conference will be Linda M. Woolf, Phillip Zimbardo, & Alana Conner.
Attendees are encouraged to propose topics for presentations and demonstrations that are broadly related to the theme of social justice and responsibility. For example, topics could relate to teaching diversity (broadly interpreted), fairness and morality, or prejudice and discrimination.
Proposals not connected to the theme will also be considered and attendees are encouraged to submit these topics as well.
